@wohoSG Wow, now you are talking about the artist getting inspired? First it was copy, then it became inspired, then the artists got inspired? No, it’s your blind assertion, and don’t expect to get away with such crap.
You are the one who are making the claim, so its upto you to back it up. If you didn’t want to get replied, why don’t you fucking keep your assertions to yourselves instead of posting it here?
Now please explain how the hell could a Crime comedy inspire a drama/romance flick??
There’s as much similarity between the two, as there is between Satya and Pulp fiction. Gangster guys, carry guns, even the color of the guns are the same, so must be inspired. Duh.
@therealearner oh and … “its not an exact copy but there are a lot of concepts taken from the hangover” i said that the first time you replied… did correct my self. read the entire convo please
@therealearner omg calm down LMAO why are you getting so defensive?…this is MY opinion and what I observe i never said you were WRONG i simply expressed my opinion. and btw i said influences…there are influences. take a breather seriously its just a film. not real life
@therealearner once again you’re not reading properly LOL i said “the car they drive is the same colour” .. jesus christ man I SAID INFLUENCED NOT A FREAKING DITTO COPY OF THE FILM! I NEVER SAID THE PLOT WAS THE SAME! STOP PUTTING WORDS INTO MY MOUTH AND LEARN TO READ! i stated that i am basing it of a trailer, what ive heard and read. why dont you stop trying to prove me wrong…do some research and get a better hobby rather than going on youtube and forcing your view..leave me alone
@therealearner you do realize that an artist can be inspired by anything right? … for example my film professor at my uni was inspired to make his drama and romance film from an ACTION movie, he saw bits and pieces from it that really triggered a story. thats just one example…there are possibly thousands of others that are inspired in the same retrospect…i have a good idea , why dont we both shut up and just wait for the film? … ffs
@wohoSG Respecting opinion? This is not an ‘opinion’, it’s rather a claim about the film being inspired, which can’t be your ‘opinion’. If you say, I don’t like the trailer, or I hate the movie, etc – that’s an opinion. Saying it’s inspired is a claim.
You didn’t say how it’s inspired, yet. Except the three people going for bachelors party, alone is the similarity you pointed out. They’ve used a lot of cars in the movie, so your point ends there. Anything else?
@wohoSG Bullshit.
They drive the same color car? If I’m right, they are not even the same model. And they drive many cars throughout the movie. So that goes down the drain.
Shit happens – what do you mean by that and where did you get that from?
Wife getting pissed off- WTF?!! They had an argument and she was there with Abhay – which is not the case at all with hangover.
IF this is what you call influence, then every movie in the goddamn planet is influenced.
@therealearner right so i corrected myself when you first replied…lmao thats my point there..i have already pointed out he obvious similarities within the trailer . ” guy getting married, so friends go to wherever for bachelor party, shit happens, wife gets pissed off , EVEN the car they drive is the same colour xD” and actually if you look into it there are mannnyy people who believe the same as i do. yes farhan has said its not a copy of the hangover but that doesnt mean it wasnt influenced
@MrSkyblue37 Do you even care if the movie would be good or not? Why are you so obsessed with BO Status?
Farhan took a big risk back in 2001, and we had DCH. It didn’t do well in the box office. What a big flop director, making all those crappy flop movies, right? Why the hell would he make such a movie?
@wohoSG No, you can’t just make shit up and get away with it. Prepared to get responded to when you post it on a public platform. That’s why we have this cool feature called “Reply”.
No, you didn’t show how is it even remotely similar except for the bachelor party thing, which we agreed, does not count.
And no, you didn’t say it was inspired, this was your original comment
“its totally a remake of the hangover … fail , itll be good but why copy”
@therealearner i didnt make it up . im just going off what i saw on the show.if they’re wrong so be it idc . ill believe what i want to . you can call it ignorance or just plain stupid i could care less. you know i replied to you thinking you would respect the fact that everyone has their own opinion but you’re just trying to shut it down. grow up. most indian cinema films today are influenced from others…why cant this be? why dont you wait for it then make a decision…ill do the same

lol..masala version of hangover
@wohoSG Oh rly? First you say it’s copied blah, then when I responded you say a LOT of concepts are taken from hangover — which you’re yet to justify.
What are those concepts?
Who says Zindagi na milegi dobara? This flop stars have got it back again! What a big risk they r taking!

And you’re wrong on both counts.
